Formation of a multidisclipinary open source furniture design studio and creation of its visual identity

Semmel & Sauer is a project I started with my childhood friend Lukas Ramsauer. Since we know each other we have always been spending our time constructing and making things. Both our skills combined -Luk studied mechanical engineering- our aim is to draft useful everyday objects. They should consist out of only one material and preferably be produced locally in any CNC milling machine available. To foster people to rethink their opinion towards aspects as pricing, overproduction and the symbolic value of design, our "artefacts" can either be dowloaded for free on our website and be produced independently or be purchased at a fair price directly from us.
