Curating a participative exhibition mantled in style of a bookstore

Within the Klitzeklein Verlag project I wanted to present the booklets that were produced by children to a broader audience. I contacted the Drin coworking space in Bolzano and had the chance to occupy their atelier space for two weeks with my Buchladen/Libreria Klitzeklein. The set up of this exhibition was intended to remind the visitors of a bookstore to also encourage similar behaviour patterns as for example to take out a book, find a place to sit and indulge in it. Also children were invited to continuously expand the publishers repertoire by creating further books in the middle of the exhibition, which then could be reproduced immediately with a copy machine installed for this very purpose.
